The Oaks Christian Online Christian High School curriculum has been developed with a college preparatory emphasis for high school students. It is a distinctive curriculum for Online Christian High School.

A three-step process was used for the development of online Christian high school core courses. The foundation of the OCO curriculum was provided by Florida Virtual School (FLVS). FLVS has been a pioneer in award winning curriculum development for online high school courses and continues to be a world leader in online schooling for K-12 courses. Over 700,000 FLVS online high school courses have been completed by students during the last ten years.  

The second step in the curriculum development process was performed by Sevenstar Academy. The FLVS curriculum was modified and enhanced to include a Christian emphasis. Christian school teachers from around the US reviewed every lesson and added Biblical integration into the base curriculum. Sevenstar has partnered with over 300 Christian schools to provide a quality Christian curriculum for online high school courses. Sevenstar is a member and an administrative board and a partner of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Both FLVS and Sevenstar are accredited by their respective accrediting agencies.

The third step in the curriculum development process was performed by Oaks Christian School teachers. In this part of the process, all online high school courses were reviewed and enhanced with additional academic rigor, ensuring that all courses are at a college preparatory level. All OCO online high school courses are unique and meet the high standards of Oaks Christian School.
