Accredited Online High School

Oaks Christian Online High School (OCO) is an online accredited high school by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for the highest-rated term of 6 years (beginning in 2015) and by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) for its highest-rated term of 5 years (beginning in 2015). The committees thoroughly reviewed the  accredited online high school’s courses, teachers, program and practices in March of 2015 and had previously stated, “As one becomes acquainted with the quality of program that Oaks Christian School has developed over their first decade, one realizes that the school will not put its name on any program that does not measure up to the same high standard.” The SAIS accreditation makes Oaks Christian Online School one of only a handful of online programs in the United States that are accredited by an independent school regional accrediting agency.

OCO has also earned more than 40 University of California course approvals, including all of its online science courses. Starting with the 2013-2014 school year, all OCO core-academic courses are also approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to count towards NCAA eligibility calculations. OC Online is one of a select number of accredited online high schools in the nation. With the NCAA approved courses, our students now can use these courses towards their NCAA eligibility calculations in order to play at a Division I or Division II university.

Please see our accredited online high school course listing for NCAA approved courses or contact our Admissions Department for questions about how online courses impact your college plans.
